About Money Foundations

Our mission

To help people in the UK understand, manage and improve their personal finances. We do that through free, plain-English information and practical tools, offered with compassion and without jargon or sales pressure.

Millions of UK adults struggle with financial confidence, and trustworthy guidance is hard to find among content designed to sell products. We are building the resource we wished existed, inspired by the campaigning clarity of MoneySavingExpert, the compassion of Citizens Advice and Christians Against Poverty, and the long tradition of stewardship wisdom.

What we are not

We are not financial advisers, and nothing on this site is regulated financial advice. We publish information and education. For advice tailored to your own circumstances, speak to an FCA-authorised independent financial adviser. If you are struggling with debt, free specialist help is listed in ourDebt Basics guide.
